ob Summary: The Collections Manager oversees the collections staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, company policies, and procedures. They are responsible for maintaining quality control standards, training employees on relevant laws and processes, and managing debt repayment arrangements. Additionally, they oversee data entry tasks, address customer inquiries, and assist with departmental operations.

Essential Duties:

• Ethically and fairly manage employees while enforcing company rules.
• Stay updated on changes in collections laws and ensure staff receives necessary training.
• Arrange debt repayment based on customers' financial situations.
• Communicate with customers regarding account status or activity.
• Perform accurate data entry tasks and correct errors as needed.
• Train and coach team members on compliance and collections processes.
• Manage team schedules and assignments.
• Assist with department operations as required.
• Develop staff goals and incentives.
• Understand and train on the risk elements of collections work.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
