ModMed is hiring a driven Collections Supervisor to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Accounting Collections team focused on timely and effective recovery of outstanding debts owed to the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in overseeing the efficient functioning of the collections team within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!

Your Role:

• Supervise, and assist with, day-to-day operations of the collections team.
• Ensures customer accounts are collected in accordance to monthly goals and contract terms.
• Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Builds solid cross-functional relationships in order to provide best in class support to our customers.
• Works with internal teams and customers on escalated requests.
• Reviews, understands, and has the ability to explain complex customer contracts and agreements to the team and customers.
• Reviews team performance to ensure the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Assists in collection efforts as needed.
• Makes recommendations for action based on analysis of Accounts Receivable Aging.
• Mentor and lead staff by providing guidance, support and training.
• Manage multiple projects as directed by management.
• Perform other Accounting and Operational duties as directed.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, over an A/R team.
• Experience in a fast paced, high growth environment.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under strict deadlines as well as to manage with little direction as the business grows at lightning speed.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in delivering results through both individual and team effort.
• Fulfill role as a well-organized, self-directed team player.
• Strong analytical abilities; ability to analyze contracts and terms.
• Flexible and dependable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Netsuite experience preferred.
