    The Spirit of the Position:
    The Credit & Collections Specialist will follow our collections policies, processes and procedures. The specialist will coordinate with all field operations, regional vice presidents, accountants and revenue coordinators around the country. Our ideal candidate is familiar with all accounts receivable accounting procedures and can perform a high volume of daily tasks end-to-end.
    Principal Job Duties:
    • Call and email customers and clients for past due balances.
    • Monitor incoming AR department requests.
    • Ensure invoicing and payment recording procedures are enforced.
    • Record electronic payments to customer/client accounts.
    • Collaborate with accounts receivable team members daily.
    • Resolve issues of customers and clients, email and phone.
    • Assist accounting staff with questions and provide backup.
    • Cross-train on collections reporting requirements.
    • Use excel to report collections progress and updates.

    Education:
    Preferred: BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Business Management

    Requirements:
    • Proven work experience in business with 5 years of experience
    • Hands-on experience with accounting software
    • Excellent computer skills and ability to adapt new technology
    • Advanced formulas and functions in MS Excel
    • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
    • Ability to accurately process numerical data
    • Problem-solving attitude
    • Experience with Epicor and Navision is a plus

    Physical Demands:
    Ability to lift, push, pull and otherwise move objects of at least 10 pounds.
