SpineSearch is seeking to fill multiple openings for Medical Collectors to join a leading spine and pain practice based in Brooklyn, New York. The ideal candidate is experience in medical or debt collections and is comfortable with heavy volume calls.

Position is full time, Monday through Friday - offers a competitive salary based on experience, comprehensive benefits, and room for growth.

Requirements of the Medical Collector:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years of medical collecting experience

Responsibilities of the Medical Collector:

• Contact patients about outstanding medical bills.
• Verify and review billing accuracy.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements.
• Handle insurance claims and disputes.
• Address patient billing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate debt collection efforts.
• Provide financial counseling and assistance.
• Generate reports for analysis.
• Offer empathetic customer service.
• Stay updated on industry regulations.
• Adhere to legal debt collection practices.
