    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Leadership

    • Maintains a high-level, strategic perspective, proactively anticipating and addressing challenges, opportunities, and potential developments, akin to a 60,000-foot view
    • Works with the ownership team to develop the company’s business and strategic plan
    • Executes created plans to increase growth and profitability
    • Consistently conveys the strategic plans and initiatives of the organization
    • Serves and owns the facilitation the successful completion of organizational strategies, initiatives, and projects, ensuring they reach the finish line
    • Ensures smooth resolutions serving as the tiebreaker for decisions when needed
    • Balances a strong commitment to realizing the organization’s one-year goals with a comprehensive understanding and ownership of the broader strategic vision, and holds primary responsibility for the organizational chart driving its development and execution
    • Effectively compartmentalizes and prioritizes visionary and innovative thinking
    • Balances a healthy dose of skepticism with the ability to foster and cultivate a positive organizational culture

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required

    • Custom manufacturing experience (anything that is custom-specific orders, drawings etc.)
    • 3 years executive management experience (Director and above)
    • Financial acumen
    • High attention to detail
    • Experience in customer relations and how to cultivate relationships

    Preferred

    • Graphite experience
    • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Manufacturing, Engineering)
    • CNC fab shop experience
    • Worked in an organization of 100 or less

    Desired

    • Graphite manufacturing experience
    • Sales experience

    THE COMPANY

    Semco Carbon began custom graphite machining services in 1971, and we’ve been growing ever since, producing client-specific components for a broad range of industries. Because we work exclusively with graphite and carbon composites, large production quantities are never a requirement when our clients place an order. That means we can handle small-run jobs such as prototype or repair work with only a $250 minimum order requirement. Additionally, we can both manufacture and maintain inventory for clients who may have limited warehouse space.

    We offer our clients more than just know-how and mastery of graphite and carbon machining. We also come to the table with a long tradition of superior customer support. Semco clients have come to expect reliability, quality products, on-time delivery, and hands-on selection of the best graphite materials for their specific applications. Our diverse capabilities matched with our exceptional customer service make us as unique as the problems we solve for clients.

    All products are shipped from our 45,000 square foot facility in Lorain, Ohio which is conveniently located 25 miles west of Cleveland, providing easy access from both interstate 90 and the Ohio Turnpike.

    Benefits: QSEHRA (Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, AD&D, short and long -term disability, 401k)

    Salary: $150K-$170K plus a 20% variable compensation component.
