The College College Registrar is responsible for class registration, assigning classroom space, and updating student records. Oversees university/college's system of student records. Being a College College Registrar determines students who have achieved certain scholastic goals, such as the Dean's List. Ensures that all requirements have been met prior to graduation and that diplomas are factually correct. In addition, College College Registrar requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a College College Registrar contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of relevant experience in higher education, preferably in a registrar’s environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Jenzabar One (J1) (or other SIS) and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. The assistant registrar works with the registrar in the general administration of all undergraduate and graduate records, in all areas necessary to contribute to the efficient and responsive operation of the office. Using effective communication and problem-solving skills, the assistant registrar must be able to interpret policies as related to academic records and deal with information that is sensitive and/or confidential. Candidates must also have significant attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Candidates should have an understanding of, and appreciation for, the mission of liberal arts institutions.
