Summary of duties: Manage a team of 18 personnel in multiple locations, prioritize projects, delegate tasks, and oversee their professional development. Manage the activities of Tier-1 and Tier-2 teams within Security Operations Centre (SOC) to ensure effective resolution of alerts. Review various reports and alerts to identify security events for further investigation. Oversee the investigation and response of high or critical severity incidents to ensure all actions are completed successfully. Liaise with various technical teams to collaborate on handling security incidents. Manage the communication with Infosec management and regional senior management to further the cyber security program and ensure timely notification and updates on information security incidents. Manage the maintenance of all Cyber Monitoring policies and procedures, and ensure these are all up to date. Manage the forensics investigations regionally. Be the escalation contact for any issues that require further technical analysis or reaching out to regional management.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience as a Vice President, Associate, IT Consultant, IT Analyst or related. Must have the following experience: Security Event handling and escalation (6 years); Malicious Email Triage and Investigation (5 years); Data Loss Prevention triage and investigation (4 years); Managing incidents and triage coordination of major events (4 years); Alert procedure documentation management (4 years); anti-virus protections and alerts (3 years); Firewalls and network security experience (3 years); SOC scheduling and administration (3 years); Service Now Development (3 years); and Alert metrics and alert tuning (2 years).
