Title: HR Generalist
Schedule: 4-10s M-Th 100% onsite
Pay: 40-45/hr

Summary:
The HR Generalist plays a key role in delivering HR services across various functions. Collaborating with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), this position ensures efficient HR support for employees, fostering a productive and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Talent Acquisition to manage hiring processes, including assessments, background checks, I-9 verification, and onboarding.
Welcome and assist new hires on their first day and throughout the onboarding process.
Respond to employee inquiries about time off, policies, and leave programs (FMLA, Military, etc.).
Guide employees in using self-service tools like the Employee Service Center.
Support Employee and Labor Relations during workplace investigations and ensure the retrieval of company property from departing staff.
Identify and communicate training needs for employee and labor relations topics.
Collaborate with Talent Development to support leadership development initiatives.
Act as a liaison between employees and the Benefits Services team, handling inquiries, benefit selections, and organizing orientations.
Facilitate employee engagement in partnership with the Talent Management team.
Build strong relationships with business leaders, attending leadership meetings to present HR metrics and insights.
Monitor employee engagement and collaborate with HR Business Partners to address challenges.
Qualifications:
Ability to support a 24/7 operation and respond promptly to issues.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to build trust at all organizational levels.
Expertise in organizational processes and HR policies, with the ability to translate business needs to HR COEs.
Preferred certifications: SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR.
Experience:
7 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee/labor relations and talent acquisition.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
