• Develop the commercial portfolio, comprising commercial loans, deposits, fee income, and treasury management products.
• Manage the portfolio to meet production goals.
• Exceed assigned sales targets.
• Analyze financial data from businesses to offer tailored financial solutions.
• Utilize existing member relationships to identify further opportunities in the market.
• Cultivate relationships with professionals like CPAs, attorneys, and realtors to broaden the portfolio.
• Handle collection and resolution of underperforming loans.
• Conduct annual reviews of the existing loan portfolio.
• Train branch staff in commercial products and services.
• Collaborate with branch staff to address the financial needs of business members and prospects.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance in all interactions.
• Perform other duties as required to promote the credit union and serve its members.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Achievement of sales goals for loan growth, deposit growth, fee income, and treasury management revenue.
• Portfolio delinquency performance.
• Retention of the existing portfolio.
• Number of sales contacts made during specified periods (monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Referral of non-business products to other credit union departments, including mortgage and consumer products.
• Completion of volunteer and business development activities within the designated market.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably five years of commercial lending experience.
• Preferred experience in business development or outbound sales calling.
