Commercial Credit Analyst collects, reviews, and analyzes data to prepare a detailed credit analysis that evaluates the terms and creditworthiness of commercial loan applications. Uses multiple sources of information, including financial statements, collateral appraisals, credit scores, and cash flow analysis, to assign risk ratings to loans and complete an analysis of the applicant's financial status. Being a Commercial Credit Analyst calculates debt-to-income (DTI) ratios to evaluate an applicant's ability to repay the loan. Prepares credit memos in a standardized format that includes key ratios, supporting information, an executive summary, and objective recommendations. Additionally, Commercial Credit Analyst presents credit reports to loan officers and loan committees. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Credit Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. VP of Lending - Bragg Mutual Credit Union

  • Bragg Mutual Federal Credit Union, located in Fayetteville, NC, is seeking experienced candidates for the position of VP of Lending.   Serving as the senior lending executive of the credit union, this role is responsible the leadership and oversight of consumer lending, mortgage lending, commercial lending, and the collection function of the organization.  Manages the administration of the loan department, to include budgeting, training, supervision, and portfolio management.  


    Some of the duties and responsibilities of this position include:


    • Provides overall directions, coordination, and evaluation of the loan department
    • Manages employees performing these functions, in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
    • Interviews, hires, and trains employees; assigns and directs work
    • coaches, leads and counsels employees as required.
    • Develops and implements policies and procedures consistent with laws and regulations, and in support of the credit unions goals and strategic direction
    • Ensures continuing education for all loan and collections staff
    • Remains knowledgeable of legislative and regulatory initiatives and analyzes potential impacts on the credit union's lending operations.
    • Participates in strategic planning for the credit union.

    • Bachelor's degree in related field. Will consider strong experience in lieu of degree
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge, to include:
      • auto lending
      • personal lines of credit
      • credit cards
      • real estate lending
      • loan operations
      • training employees
      • collections
