Commercial Credit Analyst collects, reviews, and analyzes data to prepare a detailed credit analysis that evaluates the terms and creditworthiness of commercial loan applications. Uses multiple sources of information, including financial statements, collateral appraisals, credit scores, and cash flow analysis, to assign risk ratings to loans and complete an analysis of the applicant's financial status. Being a Commercial Credit Analyst calculates debt-to-income (DTI) ratios to evaluate an applicant's ability to repay the loan. Prepares credit memos in a standardized format that includes key ratios, supporting information, an executive summary, and objective recommendations. Additionally, Commercial Credit Analyst presents credit reports to loan officers and loan committees. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Credit Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Our Programs and Services Division is recruiting for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Data Analyst to join their unique and growing team!

    Duties

    As our Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Commercial Driver’s License Program by overseeing CDL data and ensuring compliance with all state and federal requirements. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing data from the Commercial Skills Test Information Management System (CSTIMS) and the Department of Licensing Driver & Vehicle System (DRIVES), among others. By utilizing your analytical skills, you will be tasked with generating trend analysis, reports, and programming to aid program auditors. Your successful completion of this project will result in enhanced support for training providers through the identification of areas for improvement to reduce fail rates and increase pass rates. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the improved quality and efficiency of training for Washington State Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) and CDL holders.

    Some of the things you will do
    .
    • Lead the efforts to gather and analyze Commercial Driver’s License specific data.
    • Develop reports and visualizations on current program trends.
    • Prepare professional level written and graphical reports and other communication.
    • Collaborate with teams on the development of systems for tracking, reporting, and analyzing data trends.
    • Produce and present trend analysis reports and programming to support program auditors.

    Qualifications

    What you will bring:

    • Eight (8) years of professional work experience in data analysis, conducting research, project management system development, analyzing policies laws, rules and/or regulations.

    Up to four (4) years of relevant education* may substitute year for year for experience.
    (Associates degree = 2 years | Bachelor’s degree = 4 years)

    • Relevant education will include major study in Business Administration, Public Administration, Health Administration, law, political science, public health, or a closely related field.

    Experience can be obtained concurrently.

    What may set you apart:
    • Experience leading projects or programs, including creating project plans, managing goals and timelines, constraints, risks, identifying outcomes and assignments, and communicating statuses and operations changes to staff at all levels of an organization.
    • One (1) year of demonstrated experience preparing, conducting and/or delivering clear, concise, and professional presentations or informational briefs to external stakeholders or executive level management, to include organization of materials accurately conveying the information, recommendations, or assessments.
