This position is responsible for managing an assigned book of business while providing excellent customer service to our clients. 

 We prefer someone who could work on-site or hybrid schedule (1 day a week) but would consider remote.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain client relations and manage client accounts 
• Process client renewals
• Strive to retain accounts and assist as needed on new business sales
• Analyze accounts for coverage gaps
• Report all new claims and manage ongoing claims as needed
• Thoroughly document accounts using the agency’s management system
• Follow agency’s workflows and standards
• Continue growth of insurance knowledge and stay informed of changes in the insurance industry
• Mentor and train other employees 
• Backup other employees as assigned
• Special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills and Specifications:

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and delegate
• Follow instructions and tasks through to completion in a timely manner
• Advanced knowledge of insurance company’s guidelines and underwriting
• Computer proficient and knowledgeable with Microsoft Office

Education and Qualifications:

• Maintain a current California Property & Casualty Insurance License 
• Minimum of 2 years of Commercial insurance or equivalent knowledge, experience, or education
• High school diploma or equivalent
