  • POSITION PURPOSE:

    Provide support to the lending team by actively participating in all aspects of the Bank’s loan portfolio process. Collaborate with internal and external clients and third-party vendors to successfully achieve team goals while complying with laws and regulations.

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school diploma; some college business courses preferred
    • Minimum three years commercial and real estate loan processing or servicing experience

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Finastra LaserPro experience a plus
    • Ability to learn and effectively use banking applications and systems
    • Effective verbal and written communication in a clear, thorough and timely manner
    • A high level of organization, ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy, manage multiple projects, demonstrate self-motivation and ability to follow through with tasks
    • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others; work to develop and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships; represent the bank in a positive manner; and maintain credibility with others
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
    • Familiarity with Federal Banking Regulations
    • Familiarity with commercial loan documents
    • Knowledge and understanding of commercial and real estate loan administration
    • Active Colorado Notary Public

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Actively participate in lending workflow to ensure quality and timely service to lending clients
    • Collect and organize loan application packets and supporting documents and verify the accuracy and completeness of each document and packet
    • Prepare applicable loan disclosures in accordance with regulatory requirements
    • Order and collect required loan due diligence items including, but not limited to:
    • Credit Bureau Reports
    • Beneficial Ownership Information
    • Business Entity Searches
    • OFAC Searches
    • Real Estate Title Work
    • UCC Searches
    • Flood Searches
    • GEO Code / Census Track Searches
    • Other documents required for loan processing
    • Review entity documentation for authorized signers and borrowing authorities
    • Organize and submit loan request packet to Credit Administration for underwriting
    • Work with Loan Officers and third-party professionals to close loans in conformity with approved terms and conditions
    • Work with participant banks in arranging loans sold or purchased
    • Verify all pre-closing conditions have been met prior to closing and funding loans
    • Organize and submit loan typing / boarding packet to Loan Operations to prepare loan documents
    • Review loan documents prior to closing to ensure that they were prepared in conformity with approved terms and conditions, cover the intended collateral and document the borrower’s and guarantor’s obligations to the bank
    • Perform loan closings
    • Verify deposit accounts are open and funded if applicable
    • Create, manage and provide ongoing maintenance of commercial loan files in an accurate and efficient manner
    • Work with Loan Officers and clients to process all loan renewals in a timely manner
    • Work closely with Treasury Management / Operations for deposit related activities
    • Prepare adverse action letters for incomplete applications, counteroffers or denials
    • Accept loan advance and payment requests from clients and work with Loan Operations for processing
    • Remain current on government regulations related to lending and internal policies
    • Maintain current knowledge of loan operations, documentation and processing to fill loan operations needs during busy times and staff absences
    • Other duties as assigned

    Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
