Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
This position will work closely with loan officers by assisting in the preparation of loan documentation for new loans, renewals, and extensions. In addition, a loan assistant will prepare for all loan closings including but not limited to working with the loan officer and third parties to ensure all necessary documentation is in place, reviewed, and acceptable. The loan assistant will also be responsible for all follow-up after the closing to insure all documentation is correctly executed and all collateral documentation is properly perfected. This position will work closely with the loan officer to clear up any outstanding technical exceptions and to keep all loan files clean and up to date. Also, the loan assistant will work closely with customers helping them with loan and other bank product related questions. The loan assistant will also look to cross-sell bank products when appropriate and be a resource for customers in helping them find solutions to their financial product needs.
