The Commercial Loan Officer position is a fundamental position at United Bank. This position is responsible for interviewing loan applicants. Collects and analyzes financial and related data to determine the general creditworthiness of the prospect and the merits of the specific loan requests. Establishes and negotiates where necessary, terms and conditions which credit will be granted, including the costs, repayment method, and schedule and collateral requirements. Is responsible for all documentation requirements in underwriting the credit decision. Monitors loan repayment activities and takes necessary action to collect from past-due accounts. Develops new business by networking with business professionals, contacting prospects and customers, cross-sells banks services. Must have transportation to meet with clients on or off site. Responsible for areas of compliance as it relates to Commercial Lending. Undertakes special projects relating to departmental services as assigned.
