• Responsibilities:

Responsible for processing applications for security clearances.

• Accurately enter information into government computer systems.
• Initiate communication with applicants via phone or email. Document activities in tracking system
• Attention to detail
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to use and understand a variety of computer systems
• Ability to work in a team environment; providing backup to other team members
• Ability to provide telephone support to customers with login issues/concerns and government application questions
• Ability to communicate over a phone for long periods of time
• Strong communication skills; verbally and written
• Ability to track multiple tasks and follow up

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Active DoE security clearance, equivalent or ability to obtain one
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience working in an administrative or processing role is preferred
• Self-starter, able to work under pressure to meet commitments while maintaining quality of work and effective interface
• Must be a US citizen

Pay: $23.42 - $27.83 per year
