About the Role
The role will participate in driving actionable insights and supporting strategic decisions through data-driven analyses and key performance indicator reporting.
Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Develop, enhance, and deliver weekly and ad-hoc reporting to support needs of key partners across the commercial unit
- Assist with preparing and presenting impactful data-driven analyses that drive decision-making
- Work closely with third party vendor to ensure integrity and accuracy of the data in the data warehouse
- Assist with designing and maintaining performance dashboards highlighting descriptive and predictive KPIs
- Actively monitors, measures and reports on field force effectiveness and activity metrics
- Partners with Information Technology to maintain elements of data warehouse systems and integrity and quality of data
Factors for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, data science, or related field required
- 0-2 years relevant experience in healthcare/pharma; ophthalmic and/or biopharma experience strongly preferred
- Problem-solving mindset, ability to successfully navigate ambiguity/complexity
- Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategy and tactics
- Experience leveraging data warehouse, data aggregation and commercial systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Experience with business intelligence tools/querying (e.g. Tableau, SQL) preferred
- Must be a team player with strong self-awareness and excellent interpersonal skills

At Tarsus, we understand the importance of attracting and retaining top talent. The expected base pay range for this position is $69,000 - $96,600 plus bonus, stock equity, and comprehensive benefits. The base pay range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
