    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Time Commercial Roofer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, safety, and functionality of our roofing system through regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks. We own and operate 3 large factories and warehousing space in Amsterdam, NY.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct regular inspections of the roofing system to identify any signs of damage, wear, or deterioration.
    • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including patching leaks, replacing damaged materials, and resealing joints.
    • Install new roofing materials and components as required.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
    • Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to coordinate efforts and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a commercial roofer, with a strong understanding of roofing materials, techniques, and best practices.
    • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
    • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to roofing work.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
