May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Commercial Tire Store Manager Assistant typically reports to a store manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Dunn Tire is looking for qualified Assistant Managers to join our growing team. The Assistant Manager is responsible for providing daily support to the Manager or Managers of our retail tire and service organization. The Assistant Manager will perform and execute tasks as directed as well as supervise, hire, or train other company employees. The Assistant Manager directly faces clients and assists with issue resolution therefore excellent communication skills are essential in delivering a world-class experience to our customers.Salary: $22.00 - $27.00 / hour

Responsibilities
- Delivering a World Class experience to our customers
- Understanding the products and services we offer
- Continue to grow your product knowledge
- Sales & profit attainment (P&L)
- Controlling the daily workflow
- Developing schedules
- Manage Payroll
- Train and develop personnel
- Weekly inventory line counts
- Ensure safety protocol is being followed
- Coaching, training, and leading a team
- Mounting and balancing tires and like tire work
- 48-hour workweek
- Misc. housekeeping tasks
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have previous retail sales & management experience.
- Automotive experience is not required but is considered a plus
- Great communication & customer service skills are a must
- Time management & ability to manage multiple initiatives at one time
- Computer: Windows, Word, and a basic understanding of Excel
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Possesses a valid State Driver's License
- Saturday availability
