ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze inventory and demand for finished goods and manufacturing components to drive and execute purchasing decisions.
• Responsible for purchasing of multiple commodities and services.
• Ensures products and/or services are secured at the correct balance of cost, quality, and delivery time to meet performance expectations.
• Maintain all purchase order related information in the ERP system: Costs, dates, quantities, revisions, etc.
• Setup and maintain supplier information in the ERP system.
• Partner with Supply Chain Manager and Engineering to build supplier relationships and maintain them in accordance with company ISO procedures.
• Complete necessary documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with Logistics on arranging shipment of products from suppliers.
• Responsible for maintaining supplier performance data for ongoing supplier evaluation.
• Resolve quality, delivery, and financial issues with suppliers.

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ad Hoc reporting for the company.
• Perform other functions as necessary or assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

·         0-5 years of demonstrated experience as a buyer, planner; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.

·             Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·             Ability to change or adapt work practices, priorities, or procedures.

·             Proficiency with Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace, Microsoft preferred.

·             MS Excel experience required.

·             ERP experience desired, SAP experience preferred.

·         Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to accomplish the goals & objectives of the company.

·             Detailed with good organizational skills.
