Full Time Position
Location: Manchester, NH 03101 –
(Hybrid - Monday and Friday remote)
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 Per year
Job Summary:
The Director of Marketing and Communication works across association departments to develop and execute strategic communication and marketing plans to support the association’s mission, engagement, and revenue goals while maintaining consistency with brand and messaging. This includes oversight of the day-to-day operation of the marketing staff, their training, the tools they use, and the medium of their communication, including but not limited to the association website, social media, email, e-newsletters, blogs, and advancement of brand awareness and visibility efforts in the field.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute marketing plans that advance the association’s strategic plan.
- Integrate the marketing plan into the annual budget through the association’s budgeting process.
- Organize and manage multiple projects, including developing all creative marketing materials and execution of all marketing activities outlined in the marketing plans and the annual budget.
- Lead the marketing team and develop them for success.
- Manage TCIA marketing and communications activities, including direct mail, website, and social media.
- Manage project plans and ensure consistent communication with Leadership Team regarding Marketing updates, project milestones, and deliverables.
- Function as liaison between departments and marketing team, providing strategic direction to staff and making decisions to ensure consistency in message and branding.
- Work with program managers to help them meet their marketing and budget goals.
- Provide analytic support to decision-makers through analysis of customer/prospect data & outside lists, surveys and third-party data.
- Analyze and understand marketing segmentation in the industry.
- Grow TCIA branding & name recognition.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or Association Management (MBA preferred)
- 8-10 years combined experience in Marketing, Communications
- Experience in association marketing is preferred with a strong emphasis in membership marketing and communications.
- Broad expertise in marketing activities, including advertising, campaign development and implementation, database marketing, direct mail, product marketing, new product launches, lead generation, and customer/member relationship management, public relations, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of association marketing and membership marketing.
- Strategic planning expertise with a focus on budgeting and goal attainment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of employees, members, and executives while maintaining professionalism both in oral and written communications.
- Strong understanding of database & CRM tools; campaign & list management, marketing segmentation & analysis.
- Adaptive mindset to navigate a dynamic marketing landscape.
- Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Ability to define and manage multiple projects.
- Must be able to travel for annual exposition and other shows.
- Must be a team player and a team leader.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift to 25 pounds without the assistance of another person. Performing physical activities that require considerable (25% of the day) use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as bending, lifting, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
