Bay Medic Transportation is rapidly expanding and growing company in the Northern California Region and is looking forward to expand our communications division.
Excellent customer service, communication, professionalism, the ability to multitask and learn quickly will be the top priorities for this position.
He/she shall be responsible to operate tracking system, radio or cell phone communication equipment to monitor the status of field personnel and units.
Primary Daily Duties
· Receive and prioritize all incoming requests for dispatch.
· Efficiently dispatch units to emergency and non-emergency calls in a timely manner.
· Demonstrate the ability to make accurate moment to moment decision making in regard to the dispatch of emergency and non-emergency vehicles.
· Obtains required information from party requesting transport.
· Maintain professional telecommunication contact with field units and other agencies.
· Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the dispatch system, land lines, and all portable radios.
· Participate in training programs as required.
· The dispatcher will perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by the Dispatch Supervisor.

· Additional Pay upon completion of or submitting your Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) Certification

· Must have computer competency including proficiency with and current Dispatch Software.
