    What you'll be doing

    Job Functions:

    • Partner closely with VP of People to design, develop and implement compensation programs, best practices and philosophy
    • Manage administration of all competitive compensation programs, job and salary range structures, best practices and our compensation philosophy
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations
    • Partner closely with our Talent Acquisition team, making pay recommendations and developing creative solutions to specific compensation/offer-related challenges
    • Partner closely with our HR Systems team to audit and update salary data, create dashboards, run reports and keep our salary ranges and compensation structures competitive and active
    • Partner closely with our HR Partner team to create, update and appropriately level our job descriptions
    • Provide solid guidance to our managers and leadership on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
    • Manage the merit, promotion, and bonus cycles
    • Manage our long- and short-term incentive programs, ensuring they recognize business performance and individual goal achievement in equal measure
    • Oversee our participation in salary surveys and regularly monitor salary survey data to ensure compensation objectives are achieved.
    • Leverage external vendors and resources as necessary
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    What you've been able to accomplish

    Minimum/Preferred Requirements:

    • Workday and MarketPay experience is required
    • 8 years compensation experience including program design,  especially incentive plans
    • A collaborative mindset, trusted partner mentality and strong influencing skills are mandatory
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, communication-intensive organization
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify communications and influence at all levels of employee
    • Strong data analysis, project management, and math skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

     

    Additional Requirements:

    • Desire to be an engaged, accessible member of a dynamic office and broader agency community
    • Experience working with colleagues in multiple locations
    • Fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.)
    • Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English
    • May need to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion

    Your Salary: 

    The target range of base salary in all locations within the United States for this role is $97,000 - $126,000 per year. Actual salary is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to business needs, level of responsibility, skill set, level of experience, and geographical location.
