  • We are seeking a strategic problem solver to lead a first-of-its-kind campaign empowering consumers to face cancer with courage. This role also involves partnering with the broader Corporate and Internal Communications team on other signature and reputation-enhancing programs and partnerships for the US Oncology organization.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Develop and deliver effective communications programs that elevate AZ Oncology’s reputation as a leader in the US.
    • Serve as the day-to-day lead of large-scale consumer campaign with an inter-agency team (IAT), which includes in-person events/activations, celebrity/influencer engagement, social content, earned media, paid media, and more
    • Collaborate with other internal company Communication Leads to ensure integration and alignment with strategic direction, corporate narrative, and internal and external corporate affairs campaign and editorial planning processes.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, marketing or related field
    • 5-7 years communications experience
    • Established track record of delivering impactful, content rich communications programs across multiple channels with proven measures of success
    • Experience with leading large-scale consumer campaigns with experiential, earned media and paid media activations
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Team worker with high level of personal accountability and ability to work independently
    • Able to develop and maintain networks across business and cultural boundaries
    • Experience of working in and efficiently navigating large scale multi-national companies
    • Experience partnering with communications agencies, as well as external partners
    • Ability to coach and influence senior leaders on their communication effectiveness
    • Ability to set priorities, resources, goals, and project initiatives
    • First-rate coordination, teamwork, organization and multi-tasking skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced degree
    • Experience in Biopharmaceutical industry or other regulated industry
    • Communications/marketing agency experience
