Basic Function:
Under minimal supervision of the Corporate Director of Communications, serves as a primary departmental contact for assigned communications projects, actively engaging in communications planning, implementation and evaluation, and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner and that work products are of the highest quality. Coordinates work with program staff and other members of the communications department as necessary. Writes, edits, and produces or assists in the production of a variety of materials, including e-newsletters and bulletins, social media posts reports, presentations, proposals, advertisements, PSAs, press releases, publications, videos and podcasts. Creates Web content and ensures accuracy and timeliness of content on any assigned Web sites. Leads or assists with the research, design, and implementation of communications campaigns and social marketing projects. May be called upon to attend and staff events or make presentations. As assigned, maintains departmental documentation.
