Communications Representative coordinates, designs, and implements internal and external communications strategies and programs within the organization. Enhances the relations between company and employees, clients, government, or community. Being a Communications Representative evaluates and assists in establishing standard operating procedures. Reviews and edits communications submitted for organizational issues. Additionally, Communications Representative monitors company media and utilizes electronic publishing technology. Coordinates delivery of communications to appropriate recipients. Works closely with various business departments to ensure messages are delivered clearly and effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Communications Representative work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. The Administrative Assistant will support the cross-functional teams of Broadband Technical Resources by assisting with projects, programs, and administrative tasks. This person will also collaborate with and communicate with employees, vendors, and customers. This position will seek to assist management and increase efficiency throughout the company.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct support to Construction Coordinators as requested
- Participates in all phases of a project by actively collecting, arranging, and compiling data into a comprehensive AS BUILT packet per established standards set by BTR and/or the Client
- Acts as a part of the check and balance system for our Finance Department by comparing the data received in production maps versus billed amounts
- Advises Construction Coordinators on under, or over, billed production codes to properly reconcile construction projects with client
- Maintains and updates in-house records and spreadsheets to ensure up-to-date statuses on construction projects
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant Work Experience
- 1-3 Years Cable Construction experience
- 1-3 Years Administrative experience, preferred
