Satellite Communications Systems Engineer
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Support a U.S. Space Force Satellite Consolidated SATCOM Systems Expert (C-SSE) communications operations team. Collaborate with mission partners in communications payload engineering, integrations, cryptographic, help desk, watch officer, ally support and other SATCOM COI members. Provide SATCOM expertise and support in operations, mission planning, crypto, testing, training, user troubleshooting, and system anomaly resolution. Perform monitoring, trend analysis and reporting on operational networks and payload performance. Conduct direct strategic and tactical network troubleshooting. Provide protected SATCOM COI technical assessments and recommendations on improved terminal, service, and system configurations and best practices. Support the development of advanced tactics from a communications perspective, as well as future Protected SATCOM systems.
