Housing Case Manager - $46,530
Become a part of the CSC family working to end poverty in the counties we serve. Our Housing Case Managers work directly with individuals and families to address barriers to housing stability. This can take the form of rental assistance to prevent eviction, help with deposits to get people housed, education and development of individualized action plans with a goal of housing self-sufficiency. The ideal candidate will possess the composure and compassion to deal with those in crisis, be highly organized with the ability to sort out financial information as it relates to program requirements, and have a broad understanding of social service programs and delivery.
*Note - position will rotate between our Albany and Corvallis office locations.
Minimum Requirements
Baccalaureate degree from a four-year college or university in Social Science or related field plus one year practical training or education in community health, social services, counseling, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Comfortable using a computer and MS Office Suite applications; emphasis on Excel. Must have a valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check. Bi-lingual English/Spanish candidates preferred and encouraged to apply.
