Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The substitute will be responsible for maintaining day to day operations and management of preschool  and/or PreK classrooms.  
    Assignments/ Specific Responsibilities


    • Assignments may include coverage for other staff during breaks and absences. 
    • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of center activities such as interacting with children, implementing curriculum,  documenting attendance,inventory, and  maintaining staff ratio when children are present at all times.
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing, washing, and disinfecting as needed (e.g., cleaning common areas, removing garbage,cleaning toys).
    • Assume all responsibilities of the position you are filling in for.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Early Childhood Education Experience

    Education/Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Substitutes must meet DHR criteria for all background screenings as required for federal regulations and child care licensing. 

    Schedule:

    • 7:00 am-3:30 pm or 2:00 pm-5:30 pm depending on the class and shift needed
