Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Title: Community Partnership Development Manager
The Community Partnership Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy designed to drive growth efforts in the state while supporting BLP’s mission and values; Specifically, the Community Partnership Development Manager will both maximize utilization of BLP’s existing community partnerships and referents as well as advance the development of new growth opportunities. The Community Partnership Development Manager leverages existing referral relationships and community contact to increase BLP’s growth trajectory and leads the maintenance of those relationships on an ongoing basis. The Community Partnership Development Manager will supervise other Community Outreach workers in Massachusetts and work closely with Marketing, Central (Intake), and Operations Teams throughout the organization to ensure optimal customer service is delivered to external stakeholders, internal teammates throughout the organization are kept apprised of relevant state resources for our members, and appropriate marketing materials are created and available for all Growth and Outreach activities in Massachusetts.

The starting salary range for this position is $63,960 - $85,020.
