    SUMMARY

    • Co-op / Interns characteristically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Under direct supervision, performs various tasks and assignments for the organization's professional staff in such disciplines as Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Management, Education, Communications, and Marketing.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Understands the overall mission and model of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
    • Rotates through corporate business divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
    • Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, and propose ideas and solutions to implement.
    • Provide suggestions to management for improving internal processes.
    • Learns and becomes proficient in internal standard operating processes and software systems.
    • Assists in creating performance reports.

    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

     

    This is a seasonal position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

     

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

     

    Some travel may be required, including evenings and/or overnight, field trips, etc.
