Community Health Director is responsible for developing plans for community-based health programs aimed at the prevention of disease and promotion of health. Recommends community health initiatives, policy implications and best practices after reviewing health literature and statistics. Being a Community Health Director identifies community health program related grant funding and develops grant proposals. Manages specific community health programs from planning and design through implementation and evaluation. Additionally, Community Health Director requires a master's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a top management. The Community Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Director of Behavioral Health will develop, implement, facilitate, continuously assess, and improve the standardization and integration of Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Disorder clinical workflows and processes within primary care. The Director is responsible for supervising Clinical staff as well as providing direct care, ensuring the highest quality of services for our patients.
Additional responsibilities include:
Masters Degree in a BH or Clinical Discipline and licensure (LICSW, LMHC, NP, RN) with LICSW strongly preferred. 3 years clinical or behavioral health and substance abuse disorder program management. Demonstrated leadership abilities, working within an inter-disciplinary team.
