Community Health Director is responsible for developing plans for community-based health programs aimed at the prevention of disease and promotion of health. Recommends community health initiatives, policy implications and best practices after reviewing health literature and statistics. Being a Community Health Director identifies community health program related grant funding and develops grant proposals. Manages specific community health programs from planning and design through implementation and evaluation. Additionally, Community Health Director requires a master's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a top management. The Community Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Community Health Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Lifestyle Communities’ (LC) Community Director activates the company’s purpose each day by building meaningful connections that create an exceptional living experience in one of our communities in Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Texas. You’ll lead the entire community team  - including leasing, maintenance, restaurant and wellness team members - committed to reinforcing the brand and creating a participation-driven environment for residents, guests, and neighbors. You are responsible for the entire operational, financial, and experiential performance of an apartment community and hospitality operation. 

    Our team is looking for a talented individual to elevate our resident and community experience in a values-based manner reflective of our purpose. 

    Who You Are:

    • Manages all business operations for the apartment and hospitality functions within the community
    • Supervises and assists in preparation and approves all sales and profit budgets.
    • Leads, manages, directs and develops all team members within the community, restaurant operations, wellness facilities, co-working etc. Directly supervises a point person in each of these areas, and spends time working directly with each of them. 
    • Ensure that quality services are rendered by each department in meeting customer needs, and that good customer relations are enhanced
    • Ensures that the property is maximizing its potential by ensuring an exceptional customer experience and adhering to brand standards in physical appearance and general conditions. 
    • Works with H&H leadership and AIRM Revenue Management team to develop effective pricing strategies, balancing seasonality, economy, customer segments, property objectives and customer satisfaction
    • Interacts with customers and guests on a frequent basis to obtain feedback about their experiences at LC Charleston; utilizes customer feedback to recognize outstanding employee service performance and improve service delivery; emphasizes and holds local leadership team accountable for addressing service failures or potential service failures, and for developing innovative ways to exceed guest expectation
    • Verifies property compliance with legal, safety, operations, labor, and LC brand product and service standards
    • Conducts both routine and short-notice quality assurance audits with specific departments; holds employees accountable for performing audits on a regular basis; conducts detailed walk-throughs to ensure building, public areas, kitchen, and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and meet or exceed customer expectations; ensures employees are appropriately trained and performing to standard.
    • Responsible for delivering KPIs and financial metrics  across each business unit to maximize value and performance of the property. 
    • Partners closely with in-market and corporate partners in Home Hospitality, Marketing, Sales, Technology, and Human Resources. 

    What You’ll Bring:

    • High school degree or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred. 
    • 8 years of experience managing operations and directly supervising staff in a hospitality, retail, customer service and/or property management environment.
    • Strong leadership aptitude required. Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment necessary. Outstanding customer service skills required. Strong communication and conflict management resolution skills are necessary.
    • Strong business and financial acumen and previous experience managing a P&L required.
