Community Health Director is responsible for developing plans for community-based health programs aimed at the prevention of disease and promotion of health. Recommends community health initiatives, policy implications and best practices after reviewing health literature and statistics. Being a Community Health Director identifies community health program related grant funding and develops grant proposals. Manages specific community health programs from planning and design through implementation and evaluation. Additionally, Community Health Director requires a master's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a top management. The Community Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Community Health Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Rogue Community Health has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced clinic Health Center Director. This position will support our White City Health Center team. This leadership position is responsible for all activities within the health center including direct supervision of assigned personnel and volunteers, full responsibility for financial and operational requirements, ensuring the smooth operation of clinic-based services, facilities, and Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) project requirements.

    Our ideal candidate will encompass our core values of respect, integrity, compassion, honesty, and community, have management and supervisory experience in a medical clinic, and the ability to support our PCMH model of health and wellness services. Priority will be given to candidates that demonstrate strong analytical, budgeting, and personnel management skills.

     
    Our expectation is a team player who is committed to our mission, professional in appearance and manner with a positive attitude, effective and respectful communication skills including conflict resolution, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position is expected to travel to multiple sites on a regular basis. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, credit check, and drug screen.

    EDUCATION: BA/BS in business, healthcare or other related field preferred.
