    What we are looking for:

    We are currently seeking a full-time community manager to run the day-to-day operations of a manufactured home community in an efficient and professional manner in order to achieve goals in customer satisfaction, occupancy, delinquency, community appearance, sales, revenue generation and cost control. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in multi-family property management or a related field, coupled with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Growing and maintaining community occupancy, overseeing the sales of on-site homes, and managing site reservations (if applicable)
    • Market available units effectively to attract and retain residents (if applicable)
    • Showing homes and conducting community tours to potential residents/tenants and providing standard information on all available units
    • Overseeing move-ins and move-outs, including facilitating the lease process and inspections of homes and/or home sites
    • Managing all required resident documentation and confidentiality
    • Maintaining resident ledgers and keeping the management system up to date
    • Generating monthly bills, collecting monthly rent and/or fees, and posting payments
    • Enforcing community rules, maintaining community safety, and responding to emergencies
    • Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing mobile home communities, including fair housing laws and safety regulations
    • Daily resident relations – planning and hosting events or activities, answering inquiries, concerns and requests by phone, email and/or walk ins, etc.
    • Ensuring the appearance of the property is safe, neat, and welcoming by collaborating with on-site staff and vendors
    • Effectively leading a team by recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, establishing, and assigning work schedules, emergency coverage, goals, etc.
    • Foster a positive work environment and provide ongoing support and guidance to the team
    • Working with the Regional Manager to set and achieve goals in terms of occupancy, sales, delinquency, etc.
    • Assisting in preparation and management of the community budget and adherence to these approved budgets
    • Implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimizes expenses while maintaining the quality of the community
    • Providing oversight and management of vendors working on property
    • Other tasks as needed or assigned by management

    Requirements and expectations:

    • Have at least 2 years of experience in property management, hospitality, or higher-level management
    • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
    • Be proficient in basic Microsoft applications
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with residents/tenants, staff, and vendors
    • Able to handle conflict resolution and on-site incidents
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with a keen to attention to detail
    • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed or in case of emergency
    • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
    • A strong willingness to learn
    • Experience using Property Management Software’s is a plus
