Opportunity
This position develops, implements, leads and coordinates programs to compensate employees in accordance with competitive markets and/or as regulated by labor contractual agreements, in compliance with global, national and local laws and regulations. Executes compensation change the work activities in partnership with the global compensation team and compensation leadership. Provides research, analysis, and metrics for the development of compensation strategies with particular focus on new, hot or fastmoving markets and job families. Proposes compensation programs that consider both Kohler Co. and local market compensation practices.
Specific Responsibilities
- Partners with the Senior Compensation Project Leader to execute compensation change the work activities which include (but are not limited to) job family auto reclassification, job architecture and annual merit.
- Designs and develops policies and programs for compensating employees to assure competitiveness, consistency, equity and validity; giving consideration to individual country practices, laws and regulations.
- Conducts and analyzes market compensation surveys, survey information and real time market data to support competitive compensation classifications and individual pay. Prepares and studies market compensation data analyses and reviews job descriptions, recommending appropriate compensation levels.
- Researches compensation best practices and programs for local markets, hot skills, and job families. Makes recommendations for adaptation of programs at Kohler Co. as appropriate and partners with business unit HR to drive the approval and execution of these programs.
- Reviews compensation programs and guidelines to insure market competitiveness of Kohler Co. practices in local markets as well as compliance with country, state, and local wage, salary and hour laws and regulations, and Kohler Co. approval policy and procedures.
- Provides compensation policy interpretation and guidance to all levels of supervision for assigned business units, including as required the necessary documentation to affect changes (ACT review and analysis).
- Proactively analyzes management, recruiting and/or market compensation practices to ensure competitive pay practices.
- Maintains liaison with compensation organizations, other companies, professional groups, etc., to keep abreast of new compensation developments and exchange information.

Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field with 3 (Senior Compensation Analyst) years of experience in Compensation and/or Human Resources.
- Must be literate in Microsoft Office. SAP and/or Workday a plus.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) a plus.

The salary range for this position is $69,800 - $87,950. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
