Associate Veterinarian - Mentorship Opportunity, Alabama

We are looking for a talented Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Alabama. This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate should have 0 to 10 years of work experience and be proficient in DVM, Veterinarian, and Associate Veterinarian.

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will collaborate with our team of veterinarians to provide comprehensive medical care for our patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing medical and surgical conditions in animals. You will also provide education to clients on preventative care, nutrition, and animal behavior.

Responsibilities:

• Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
• Prescribe and administer treatment, including medications, vaccinations, and surgery.
• Perform routine and emergency medical procedures.
• Educate clients on pet health, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Perform laboratory tests and interpret results.
• Monitor the condition of patients through follow-up visits.
• Provide mentorship to junior veterinarians.
• Maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner.
• 0 to 10 years of work experience in Veterinary Medicine.
• Proficient in DVM, Veterinarian, Associate Veterinarian.
