Overview
The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for administration, governance and compliance of compensation programs for Burlington. Additional responsibilities include providing guidance to HR business Partners and management with regard to all compensation programs and ensure market competitiveness in support of recruitment and retention strategies.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Job evaluations and analyses using market pricing approach, compliance with FLSA regulations and recommend compensation actions.
Participate in salary surveys, research and analyze market trends based on survey results and recommend changes. Periodic analysis of salary structure and positions to ensure jobs are competitively positioned in comparison to market
Consult with Management and HR Business Partners on Compensation concerns/issues; including recommendation on promotions, transfers, equity increases, and compliance regulations, etc.
Administer annual merit process. Assist with questions related to merit increase/market adjustment.
Provide cost projections to develop effective solutions to address business needs.
Bonus plan administration and analysis – includes calculation and communication of bonus payouts. May assist with administration of LTI plans.
Work with different departments to provide accrual data and forecasts
Maintain field geographic differentials ensuring ranges remain competitive by locality.
Maintain market match data, job descriptions, and other documentation related to Compensation including updates to third party tool.
Additional compensation projects as needed
Our ideal candidate will have:
3 to 5 years experience in Compensation/HR.
BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field.
PHR/CCP a plus
Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide information and make recommendations.
Ability to deliver clear and precise presentations to peers and management team on compensation projects
Strong Math aptitude.
Must be extremely analytical and computer literate with strong Excel skills.
Must be highly organized with excellent planning ability.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Requires excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of Workday is preferred.
