Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Being a Compensation and Benefits Manager develops and manages compensation and benefits budgets. Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Manager manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life. May select and manage outsourced providers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. We are a small health insurance brokerage looking for an experienced customer support representative to help our fast-growing, locally owned health insurance office. Health Benefits Associates has 4 staffed locations in Northern Nevada and 14 full-time employees. We’ve been in business for over 25 years however these last 5 years have seen by far the fastest growth.
Our team educates clients on their health insurance options and shops every insurance carrier in our region to find the best coverage at the most affordable price to suit our customers’ needs. We specialize in Medicare, small business health insurance, and individual and family plans.
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our Carson City team as a Customer Service Representative. You will primarily work out of our Carson City office but will be expected to commute to our Reno location 2-3 days per week for training and team building.
As a customer service representative for Health Benefits Associates, you will act as the liaison between our clientele and our team of licensed insurance agents. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and has excellent communication skills.
Our Customer Service Representatives usually spend a couple years in this role and eventually choose to get licensed to sell insurance after they’re comfortable with the business. We encourage all employees to grow here, and we do not limit the amount you can earn in this organization.
