    Cogent is currently seeking an Order Coordinator for our Fenton, Missouri location. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree (minimum) along with previous experience in a customer service / order coordination / scheduling position.

    Typical duties of Inside Order Coordinator may include :

    • Reviews orders for accuracy and completion. Clarifies invalid and unclear order requirements with sales staff
    • Enters all sales orders from Application Engineers into our ERP system
    • Places orders with vendors to purchase customer orders
    • Computes prices, shipping costs and any appropriate discounts
    • Handles inbound calls from customers, vendors and sales personnel
    • Provides sales quotes for parts to customers from vendor provided resources
    • Determines appropriate timing of orders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings
    • Verifies and updates customer information
    • Checks customer account for credit and outstanding payments
    • Informs customer and / or salesmen of shipping date and any possible delays
    • Accurately prepares invoices in our billing system
    • Electronically files copies of all orders received
    • Adheres to productivity standards to ensure all orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner
    • Customer Service is KEY; you will have contact with customers on a daily basis

    Position Order Coordinator Position Requirements

    Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities :

    • Must be proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Google Drive and Gmail
    • Must be a high paced self-motivator who promotes teamwork among co-workers
    • Must be able to multi-task such as simultaneously using telephone and computer skills
    • Must have a general knowledge of basic mathematical computations
    • Must have the ability to sit for extended periods while typing and reading on the computer
    • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
