Rothman Orthopaedics is looking for a Worker's Compensation Coordinator to join our team! The Workers' Compensation Coordinator works as a liaison between the practice and the insurance companies, schedules appointments, sends reports, communicates with nurse case managers, adjuster and other referral sources in a dedicated workers' compensation call center. Job Title: Worker's Compensation Coordinator

Hours: Mon - Fri: 8:30am - 5pm 

Location: 833 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 

• on-site training required; will work remote after training

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED minimum education requirement
• Must have two (2) years' experience in worker's compensation coordinating
• Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office and EMR system(s)

Job Duties:

• In a high call volume position, responds to all requests from nurse case managers, adjusters and attorneys and all relevant referral sources with regard to workers' compensation issues.
• Schedules appointments in a timely fashion.
• Verifies patients' workers' compensation insurance.
• Works with allied health staff to obtain completed forms and expedites care.
• Assists with pre-certification and approval as necessary.
• Updates patients' accounts.
• Assists the call center with scheduling.
• Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
