Compensation Director is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs. Leads the compensation function and works with senior management to ensure that compensation strategy and programs support the organization's business objectives, meet all legal requirements, and deliver value and equitable pay. Being a Compensation Director develops compensation budget for assigned areas and manages budget after it is approved. Establishes data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Additionally, Compensation Director may be responsible for entire organization or for one or more major segments of a larger organization. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Compensation Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Job Overview
    The Director, Marketing will be a key driver in establishing and enhancing the brand presence of Sequel Med Tech. Reporting to the VP, Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, managing external partnerships, and ensuring a consistent and impactful market presence.

    Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
    • Brand Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive brand strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring a strong and differentiated market position.
    • Product Launch Marketing: Develop and execute innovative marketing plans for the launch of our groundbreaking insulin pump, including coordinating cross-functional teams and external agencies to maximize reach and impact.
    • Agency and Vendor Management: Recruit, evaluate, and manage external agencies and vendors to support marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business goals.
    • Digital Asset Infrastructure: Establish and manage an infrastructure for organizing and maintaining digital assets, ensuring efficient access and utilization across marketing teams.
    • Brand Champion: Serve as the brand champion, ensuring that all marketing activities and communications consistently reflect and enhance the Sequel Med Tech brand identity.
    • Brand Guidelines: Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive and unified brand image across all marketing channels and materials.
    • Brand Collateral Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality brand collateral, including promotional materials, presentations, and digital content, maintaining brand consistency and relevance.
    • Measurement and Reporting: Develop and implement metrics to measure brand awareness, sentiment, and overall impact. Regularly report on key performance indicators to track the success of marketing initiatives.
    • Setting Brand Awareness Metrics: Establish and monitor key metrics for brand awareness, setting benchmarks and goals for continuous improvement.
    • Market and Competitive Analysis: Monitor market and competitive trends, providing insights and recommendations to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience; MBA is a plus.
    • 10 years of proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing plans for product launches in the medical device or related industries.

    • Strong strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, and collaborate with external agencies and vendors.
    • Experience in developing and managing digital asset infrastructures.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable impact.
