Competitive Pricing Analyst provides analysis of revenue, market share, capacity, and competitor activity to develop optimal pricing for geographies and market segments aligned with products and sales strategy. Conducts market research, assesses data, and develops insights into market trends and pricing strategies. Being a Competitive Pricing Analyst maintains a database of historical pricing data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and guide pricing decisions. Coordinates tools, reports, and communications for accurate pricing information responsive to market changes. Additionally, Competitive Pricing Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree in business or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. Pomp’s is actively searching for a Pricing Support Analyst to become part of our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining prices, ensuring compliance with company policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams within the ERP system. This position is not remote, the Pricing Support Analyst will work in person at our corporate office location in Green Bay, WI. Job Responsibilities: Embrace Pomp’s Tire Service’s Core Values Maintain pricing for Government Contracts and National Account (SLA) Maintain price matrix and vendor pricing Regularly update pricing information in the ERP system to reflect changes in costs, market conditions, and company strategies Provide support to sales and customer service teams by answering pricing-related questions and resolving pricing discrepancies Maintain and update pricing-related configurations in the ERP system, such as price lists, customer groups, and discount matrices Generate reports and analyze pricing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement Ensure pricing practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements and support audit processes, as needed Work with external vendors or consultants to implement pricing-related functionalities or resolve technical issues within the ERP system Participate in pricing-related projects, such as ERP system upgrades, process improvements, and/or pricing optimization initiatives All other job duties as assigned Job Requirements: Proficient computer skills including advanced understanding and skills with Microsoft Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills Acute attention to detail and accuracy Ethical conduct Work well under pressure; demonstrate ability to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor Physical Demands: Ability to talk, see, and hear in order to communicate with internal and external customers Proficiency in using a computer and related peripherals for data entry, communication, and other office tasks. The ability to sit for long periods at a desk or workstation while performing tasks. The ability to occasionally lift and carry office supplies or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. The ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to read and understand documents and information displayed on computer screens with clarity and accuracy.
