Pricing & Sales Data Analyst - Temp Assignment

This is a temporary role - project expected to conclude after 6-9 months. Referral Staffing Solutions will complete onboarding process and with selected candidate.
Summary of Role
The Pricing & Sales Data Analyst is primarily responsible for both managing pricing needs of the business to ensure accurate pricing, and indirect customer management. Duties focus on ensuring the integrity of CROPP revenue through day to day order exception management, longer term strategic price increase execution, and owning implementation of sales splits for indirect business. In addition, position assists with broker management as needed, and is responsible for problem solving and analysis in relation to pricing & sales split management, while meeting CROPP’s financial deadlines. The Pricing & Sales Data Analyst provides support to multiple departments within the co-op including Finance, Sales Team, Trade Promotions Management and the Cooperative’s broker network.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pricing Management
o Manage price lists in ERP system for OV and OMC
o Assist Customer Experience and Accounting with sales order-entry price verification and discrepancies, working with Sales Finance and Sales team to determine correct pricing
o Availability to respond to pricing requests within a short time window when needed
o Ongoing creation and update of price lists for new products, distributor specific, and other internal pricing stakeholders
o Determine and attach correct pricing for all new customers, including product restrictions
o Determine CPU pricing and set up as needed for sales order entry
o Work with Trade Promotions Manager to help set up and administer bracket pricing
o Provide support for Trade Promotions Manager to help manage and support the process for list price changes for various parts of the business, working with key stakeholders
o Implement price changes, including inter-departmental communication and managing data to ensure accuracy and visibility of pricing changes. Work in ERP to produce price lists and notification for all relevant customers
o Manage annual changeover of list prices in ERP, including clean up, adjustments, and re-creation
o Propose and assist in pricing system enhancements such as system upgrades, capabilities enhancements, and efficiency gains
Indirect Sales Data Management
o Transform and enhance distributor data to enable downstream business usages of sales split data
o Work cross-departmentally to continuously improve the utility and usability of the sales split data
o Manage customer data relationships between CROPP direct customers and indirect customers.
o Analysis of external sales data from distributors, retailers, and syndicated data sources to build out relationships for indirect sales data.
o Analysis and reporting of indirect sales data to support the Cooperative’s strategic business needs and initiatives across multiple departments.
o Provide strategic and tactical support for indirect sales data management efforts to automate the process.
o Handle confidential information with discretion
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
o Work with IT to investigate and resolve issues with reporting and process updates
o Support and lead changes in process and strategy for assigned areas
o Provide support to key departmental initiatives as assigned
o Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Accounting or related field required; or equivalent related work experience
o Ability to work successfully as an individual, as well as in a team environment and across multiple departments
o Ability to self-manage workload and responsibilities
o Strong attention to detail and use of data analytics
o Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude
o Strong oral and written communication skills
o Ability to create and maintain a strong trust relationship with Outside Sales team
o Strong computer skills; experience with ISM, ERP, and Microsoft Office software preferred
