Compliance Analyst (Banking) monitors customer accounts and researches transactions to identify suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Uses customer data mining and software tools to identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Analyst (Banking) reviews daily Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR), and submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as appropriate. Ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols. Additionally, Compliance Analyst (Banking) may lead or participate in investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. Keeps abreast with regulatory changes, risk management best practices, and trending methods used by fraud perpetrators. Delivers compliance training with up-to-date regulatory information and procedures to develop and guide a well-informed staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May have the Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Compliance Analyst (Banking) work is closely managed.     Job Description

    Healthcare Business Banking Relationship Analysts partner with assigned Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage Business Banking relationships and the loan portfolio. Contributes to the profitability and growth of Business Banking by retaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. Responsibilities may include analyzing financial data and preparing comprehensive written analysis, managing credit quality within the team’s credit portfolio, providing guidance to customers, identifying and successfully capitalizing on opportunities to deepen and expand existing relationships, managing credit risk, and responding to prospect or customer credit questions.
    Basic Qualifications
    - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
    - Three to five years of Business Banking experience
    Preferred Skills/Experience
    - Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
    - Basic knowledge of bank products and services that results in successfully capitalizing on all opportunities to deepen the relationship
    - Basic knowledge of credit administration, analysis, and credit policy/procedure
    - Demonstrated understanding of advanced financial accounting and analysis
    - Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships
    - Effective verbal and written communication skills

    The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $83,810.00 - $98,600.00 - $108,460.00
