Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. jobs in Florence, SC

Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. monitors customer accounts and researches transactions to identify suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Uses customer data mining and software tools to identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. reviews daily Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR), and submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as appropriate. Ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols. Additionally, Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. may lead or participate in investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. Keeps abreast with regulatory changes, risk management best practices, and trending methods used by fraud perpetrators. Delivers compliance training with up-to-date regulatory information and procedures to develop and guide a well-informed staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May have the Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     • Cleans administrative offices as scheduled.*
    • Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.*
    • Cleans carpets and mops all floors upon request.*
    • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents.*
    • Ensures and supports a dignified and caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and associates.*
    • Responds promptly and courteously to resident's, families, and visitors requests for assistance.*
    • Speaks to/interacts with residents showing empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect.*
    • Communicates effectively in a language that each resident is capable of understanding.*
    • Maintains a safe and secure working environment free of objects/situations that could cause harm and/or falls to residents, families visitors and associates.*
    • Practices good body mechanics and safe working habits.*
    • Observes and reports safety hazards immediately to supervisor.*
    • Provides assistance to associates when requested or required.*
    • Knows, understands and follows established policy and procedures in emergency situations.*
    • Is considered essential personnel during emergencies and/or inclement weather. Is required to report or remain at community until released by supervisor.*
    • Works as a team player with other associates and management in accomplishing work assignments.*
    • Always demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude about work issues, policies and procedures.*
    • Complies with attendance and call off policy.*
    • Attends and/or participates in trainings, in-service and mandatory meetings.*
    • Wears clean and appropriate dress per established dress code policy.*
    • Refrains from discussing resident issues with families and visitors and refers all inquiries to immediate nursing supervisor.*
    • Knows, understands, and complies with HIPAA regulations.*
    • Provides "hands-on" assistance when requested or needed by nursing staff while working in the community.
    • Participates in leisure activities provided to residents as described in the activity calendar.
    • Serves and assist residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
    • Takes on special projects or assignments outside of regular duties willingly.
    • Performs all other reasonable duties as assigned or as requested.

    Education/Experience:
