Position Description: Specimen Collection - Part Time -

This position is responsible for the collection of urine samples for the criminal justice community. The specimen collector will complete, retain, and accurately submit required paperwork associated with specimen collection. The Team Lead is the immediate supervisor and will be responsible for ensuring collections are performed in accordance with state and local laws.

The job requires the ability to relate to offenders in a professional, firm, and non-judgmental fashion. Most importantly, this position is required to build positive working relationships with clients, coworkers, court officials, state agencies and commercial accounts. Regular performance reviews are conducted according to company policy.

Required Skills and Experience: To be considered for this position, candidates must be able to demonstrate:

· High School diploma or above.

· 2 years of direct public relations experience

· Ability to utilize software systems, databases, invoicing documentation, fee collection and recording, and spreadsheets.

· Accurate, detailed work

Additional knowledge/experience desired:

Experience with Military, Criminal Justice or Social Services

Prior urine collection and testing experience

·Business processes knowledge

Criminal justice setting experience or education

Physical Characteristics: The position requires the following:

· Specimen handling and processing

· Following Universal Precautions and maintaining a safe, sterile environment

· 50% or more time sitting while using computer and completing office work

· 50% or more time standing while collecting specimen

Schedule: Shifts will be flexible, but will include afternoons from approximately 1 pm - 5 pm weekdays, and possible weekend shifts with large flexibility. This will include one hour shifts that are paid $20 per shift from 7-8 am or 6-7 pm, days are flexible.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $20.00 per hour
