    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inspect, handle, containerize, load/unload, and transport RCRA hazardous waste and materials
    • Inspect containers and collection areas for compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Process and Characterize hazardous waste
    • Operate light and heavy vehicles and equipment; trucks, fork lifts, plows, pumps, etc.
    • Spill response, and clean-up activities
    • General warehouse operations, labor, and housekeeping
    • Data entry and documentation
    • Follow safety program requirements as priority one; always acting in a safe manner
    • Provide excellent customer service and client relations
    • Be a kind and respectful teammate
    • Abide by company drug-free policy including recreational and medicinal marijuana
    • Accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities

    Qualifications:

    • minimum 1 year experience managing RCRA hazardous waste required
    • Have basic understanding of RCRA principles and waste management
    • Possess or obtain a 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
    • CDL or ability to obtain a CDL
    • Pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening including marijuana
    • Ability to pass a government background check for military installation access
    • Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record
    • Ability to pass occupational and DOT physicals
    • Ability to wear a respirator
    • Have a positive attitude, Integrity, and strong work ethic
    • Ability to meet physical demands of the job
    • General computer skills
