Compliance Director (Banking) jobs in Georgia

Compliance Director (Banking) manages operations to identify and respond to suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations as defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Implements oversight systems, interdiction software, and audit processes to perform daily transaction monitoring and identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Director (Banking) monitors activity and ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols and regulatory requirements for required filings and reporting. Leads investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. Additionally, Compliance Director (Banking) maintains extensive knowledge of financial regulations, risk management best practices, and changing fraudulent trends to develop and implement appropriate compliance procedures. Delivers compliance training with up-to-date regulatory information and procedures to develop and guide well-informed staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May have the Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. Typically reports to a director. The Compliance Director (Banking) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Compliance Director (Banking) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     The Work You'll Do:

    Lots of companies grew over the past couple of years, and Sovos is not the exception.  We have been growing in revenue, headcount and geographically for many years.  The conditions which are driving our growth are different from many others, though.  The catalyst for our growth was never related to a pandemic, it is tax related.  And tax isn’t going anywhere. 

    As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a strategic marketing leader with a breadth of marketing experience across campaign execution, data and analytics and marketing technology to help scale our business across multiple regions, with an increased focus in driving the effectiveness of our marketing function through automation, process improvement primarily in lead generation, nurture acquisition campaigns and effective use of marketing technology to implement revenue-generating campaigns. You will ensure impact-level marketing measurement and executive reporting on marketing’s contribution to the business.  

    You will build and own the marketing operations infrastructure to support the efficient delivery of our marketing campaigns. 

    You will collaborate with departments across the organization including content, brand management, campaign production, creative and finance to build an operating model that effectively balances standardization and efficiency with creative out-of-the-box thinking and customer obsession. 

    More specifically you will:

    • Develop, plan and implement the marketing operations infrastructure to support the efficient delivery of many marketing campaigns/year. 
    • Ensures impact-level marketing measurement and executive reporting on marketing’s contribution to the business 
    • Coordinates the budget strategy and manages the budget allocation and reconciliation process  
    • Ensures that marketing measurement drives performance review of key functions and campaigns  
    • Leads data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, including technology ownership and marketing process governance 
    • Orchestrates the annual marketing planning process (e.g., milestones, participants, actions, templates, calendar), ensuring marketing’s goals are aligned with sales, product, and customer engagement objectives. 
    • Collaborate with other global functions to develop, manage and support key workflow automation tools, designed to address the business needs and help drive organization scale including but not limited to creative production, asset management, budget control and CRM. 
    • Collaborate across functions to structure problems, conduct analysis, and drive to solutions through a rigorous, data-driven process. 
    • Hire and manage a high performing team of marketing operations professionals. 
    • Own marketing operations business reporting and present progress and learnings regularly to senior management. 

    What We Need From You

    • Proven global marketing experience with a breadth of knowledge around marketing operations and campaign execution 
    • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs 
    • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements 
    • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership 
    • Understanding of sales cycles and product lifecycles and their respective pressures on the marketing organization to drive demand and revenue.  
    • Insights-driven marketing strategy, planning, budget allocation, and organizational alignment experience 
    • Experience building close working relationships with internal and external partners across social, marketing, creative agency, media, etc. 
    • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools 
    • Experience with Marketo or other Marketing Automation tools 
    • Advanced user of Excel and familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. 
    • Understanding of Intent Data and ABM approach will be helpful
