Description
Our client, a boutique IP law firm, seeking a skilled Federal Court Litigation Paralegal with preferred experience in Intellectual Property (IP) cases. The candidate will be tasked with a range of activities supporting highly experienced attorneys involved with federal court litigation.
Responsibilities Include
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals.
- Conduct legal research to gather and analyze data relevant to court cases.
- Liaise directly with clients, attorneys, court staff, and other involved parties.
- Maintain electronic files and case documents efficiently.
- Assist attorneys in preparation for trial and manage exhibit lists.
- Review, analyze and manage incoming case-related materials.
- Coordinate and track all litigation deadlines.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Federal Court Litigation paralegal experience.
- Knowledge of Federal Court rules and e-filing procedures.
- Prior experience in Intellectual Property (IP) cases is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, paralegal certification preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Must possess excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills.
- Proficient with legal research tools and computer applications.
